That was the "Belle Époque", the time of the
big ships. Suguensou was a full tilt.Then the Ocean swelled up, the wind rushed
in the portholes, the sea ran over the decks. The ship had lost its Captain
and the crew hesitated as to whether they should flee the ship, set a new
course or stick it out in the turmoil. They kept their course and Suguensou
resisted.
Today, moored a few metres from the port of Audierne, close to the inlet which
takes the same name, Suguensou has recovered and awaits its crew for a new
departure, a long distance journey.
